The new chairman of the higher education subcommittee of House Appropriations, Rep. John Stewart, has scheduled a number of hearings on the role of higher education in Michigan. WSU President Irvin D. Reid will be a part of one of the hearings with U-M President Mary Sue Coleman and Michigan State's Lou Anna Simon on March 23.
